Default Breakfast ideas for visiter

Will be visiting Villages on the 13th for the 4th time and staying one nite at the Holiday Inn Express. They offer a free breakfast but would rather go to a restaurant for a better selection. Been to Two Jays several times only because thats the only place I know of. Can anyone suggest other places in The Villages for a good breakfast?
Will be moving there in two years or less for sure from south Fla. It will be the longest 2 years of my life as we can't wait to retire, move there and enjoy all the activities, especially riding my motorcycle.

RJ Gators at Lake Sumter Landing is now serving breakfast. Haven't been there myself so I can't vouch for their breakfast foods but they do have the "patio seating" so you can sit outside if it is not too cool.

We have always enjoyed the breakfasts at the Veranda. It would be my choice.

Perkins on 441 is pleasant

The country clubs usually have buffets

Panera Bread for a sit around and watch the crowd while having a bagel; ditto for Starbucks.

Can't loose with Too Jays, again.

Cracker Barrel

Billy's Coffee shop across 441 from Cracker Barrel

Ikea furniture store at Millenia Mall in Orlando - nice Swedish breakfast's

Lotsa choices, depends on your mood.

We love Billys, just north of Holiday Inn express on 27. Best fresh waffles (banana walnut mmmmm) and great fresh home fried potatoes. The bacon is the thinest I have ever seen though. No credit cards accepted. Cash only. Worth the wait if busy! I also like Cracker Barrel across the street from Billys! Eggs in a basket are my favorite, sour dough bread and cheesy hash browns! Great thick bacon. yum. Perkins has the best eggs benedict. These are just my personal likes. Have a great visit!!

Another vote of Katie Belle's buffet. They serve until 11:00 am. Drinks are extra but the guys who make the omelettes do a super job and the banana pudding is really good.

Billy's is good but you better be seriously hungry -- their servings are HUGE!

I'd suggest The Waterfront Inn or outside on The Verandah at LSL if you want a little ambience.

Bob Evans, Golden Corral, Sonrise, etc. have OK breakfasts but zero atmosphere.

Thanks for all the replies, now we have too many choices. I guess we will have to eventually try them all.

Billy's is excellent and the breakfast buffet at Katie Belles's is also fabulous.

Ah a catagory that I know alot about so my wife says!

1. Katie Belles buffet and you don't have to show your Villages ID. $5.99 during the week dollar more on the week-ends.

2. Country Cottage located South of 466 on 27/441 West side of the road.

3. Lil Bites located East of the new Beall's in Buffalo Ridge Facing the East.

4. Son Rise located in front of Publix at Southern Trace facing West.

5. RJ Gators at LSL.

6. Perkins 2 locations 466 in front of new Walmart and 441/27 South of golf cart bridge.

The above are in my order of preference.

The new IHOP is open at Southern Trace (haven't been there yet)

Indy Guy, since you are an out-to-breakfast aficionado, have you run into The Village Idiots, who reportedly eat in their pajamas??
