Default Question about Glen Hollow Farms

Hi all - I've been reading TOTV for 'awhile' and finally decided to join in.

My better half (husband) and I took a Lifestyle preview a couple of years ago. Since then, I have been checking The Villages "Quality Pre-owned Homes" site almost daily - drooling, dreaming, wishing etc.

Yesterday I noticed a new village in their drop down menu - Glen Hollow Farms. In looking at 'The Villages Street Map' 2007 copyright (the blue cover) there is no Glen Hollow Farms listed or shown.

Checking Google Earth, I found a - Glen Hollow Way - southeast of the Polo Club and Softball Complex and north of 466. The houses looked to be on lots that are bigger than Harmswood or Sunbury.

Anybody have any info??

Thanks

It might be in back of the Hampton inn on 466. I know there is a large development going in there

I'm not sure ... but I was always under the impression that this is where some of "the Family" lives. Anybody else have any idea?

Scroll to the bottom of the page for the map. Location is just N of 466 and between Buena Vista Blvd and NE 72nd Blvd. Near the Polo Club.

Folks - Thanks for the info -

Unfortunately for us, we still haven't won the lottery, so these houses at one million plus are w - a - y - y - y out of our budget.

I did find it interesting that the listing states "this home has golf cart access directly to The Villages," but it doesn't say the home is "in" The Villages.

Thanks again

The family lives in that area as do some of the larger builders. The builder for my home asked me to look at his in Glen Hollow Farms home for sale. He had purchased a horse farm closer to Ocala.
I could have gotten into TV by cart, but would not have been entitled to amenities. I was amazed at how low the taxes were on his home. Guess the taxes get jacked up when the home is sold to a new buyer.
