Default Flag Holder for Lamp Post

I've seen American flags attached to lamp posts instead of houses. Does anyone know if these setups come as a kit, and where they are sold? Our roof is shredding our flags as the wind blows them up there.

Wow, I am surprised these will hold a flag, put aside from that, take a look at the available commercial flag holders and see if you can attach with large (4 inch, my guess) stainless steel hose clamps. The one I attached to our house I think would work well, I believe I bought it at ACE hardware.

Thank you. Your villa neighborhood is where I have seen them.

The Flag Store on 441 is full of very helpful people. We went there for the same thing you want to do and ended up with an in the ground flagpole. It was worth the work.

Great info, my comment was about how deep the lamp post was buried, I recently saw one that was only 1 foot in the ground. Glad you found a source for the flag holders.

Didn't take long for DH to purchase and install. And fortunately, he didn't come home with a flag pole sticking out the back of the station wagon.
