Cell Phone Rudeness Part 2
Here we are, in the Village Post Office with the line out the door, and Jo Blow takes a call at the front of the line, Post Office employee is being MORE patient than the 30 of us waiting in line, and it's another nonsense call...
Wonder if he realizes that 20 years ago, he would have taken that call at home....I know, I know, we are all retired and what is the rush, BUT it is soooooo RUDE....Come on people, let's use the Ole Golden Rule and be more considerate of others, Is that too much to ask!!!!! |

I hate, hate, hate the cell phones. Its bad enough when then kids are constantly texting, but when older folks cant wait to take a call...its just plain rude. I've been in resturants where whole families are having a meal...each and everyone at the table is texting ot talking, not paying attention to anyone at their table.

What I find sad are the parents walking with small children who are totally ignored because mama or papa are too busy talking on their cell phones.

stopping in the middle of a tennis game to answer a call - twice - turned out to be his wife wanting something picked up on his way home - like that couldn't have been handled with a voicemail
