Default Tile tracker for carts

With the recent uptick in golf cart thefts, friends and I have been looking for a GPS tracker that was reasonable, and actually worked. The Tile is certainly reasonable, and from reviews, it's dependent on a network of Tile users to help locate it. Does anyone use Tile or have any experience with it, and does it work? If only 3 of us have it, probably won't work in the immediate area.

It uses Bluetooth at a very low power level and thus a range of around 100 feet tops, really only effective to about 30 feet. In addition to being in close proximity, a user must have Tile app running on their cellphone in order to locate. Location is accomplished by the finding device, not the Tile device. Not suitable for your intended application.

I received a Tile for Christmas. Your idea might have some merit. Went online to Amazon..tile sells for $25.

I have a tracker in my luggage, will have to see what kind I know where my bag is all the time
