Default Sports on the Television

My husband and I like to relax and watch sports during the evening. We have Comcast as our cable provider. Many of the sporting events are listed in the Daily Sun as being on FSN
(Fox Sports Net) however Comcast doesn't carry that station.

Does anyone know why Comcast doesn't carry FSN as they carry other Fox shows? Also, is there another way that we could receive FSN, ie different cable company, satellite?

Thanks in advance,

Mr. and Mrs. Sportsnut

Comcast certainly carries up here in MA. I'll be interested in the answer.

I've found that different areas have different stations in their Comcast packages. In the East Bay, I couldn't get get SciFi or TMC without going up a tier on my cable package. An extra $25/month just didn't make sense for just two stations. Here, I get those but have lost two sports stations. I'm sure if you check the various packages, you'll find Fox Sports. It will just be up to you if you decide the cost is worth it.
