If the bill passes, citizens will be required to wait until the age of 69 to begin collecting their Social Security check. For those who have paid into the system for years—and especially older people who have jobs that require manual labor—this possible extension of the retirement age may be quite alarming. However, that’s not all that Sam Johnson intends to do with Social Security.

The bill also calls for a reduction of the total funds received by each citizen, in addition to lowering the amount of funds generated by granting tax incentives to wealthy people. For those who are hoping to collect benefits from a deceased family member’s account, these may also be reduced by this new program through an “average wages” method. Especially in relation to the data available, it certainly seems as though these methods are extreme.

Although the Republicans frequently state that Social Security is bankrupt, the evidence suggests otherwise. So, what you are saying is that since the Republican party is the majority, they are the ones using the SS funds. So, when Clinton used SS to make it look like he had a surplus, you figure that was OK. When Obama was elected, and had a Democrat majority, then it was the Dems using the money to finance their programs, right? Oh, and it wasn't done in secret was it? The LEFT stole almost a trillion bucks from Medicare to subsidize Obamacare.

So, it's a bit disingenuous to declare the Republicans the enemy of the people when you won't even admit that the left are just as culpable as the right.

EXPLAIN where you got your information. The bill I read has been out there for some time and is co-sponsored by 3/4 Democrats to a few Republicans. I'd hardly consider that the GOP sneaking a bill through congress.

Democrats borrow/spend money on women and minorities...Republicans borrow/spend money on white people. Businesses are owned by whites, so the money goes there, not to the individual white people like the Democrats do with welfare to their minority political base.

R = White business owners get money.
