I did once when a Lab pit bull mix was on my deck in Seattle and wouldn't let me out of my house. Gowling and snapping if I approached the glass door. I needed to get to work. Police came and shot at the ground near him and he ran home, the officer in my case did not shoot him, but did give the owner a ticket I don't know what for just know my neighbor was mad at me. It was a Sunday and Animal Control in my town doesn't work on weekends either.
