I think that the HBO series was simply called John Adams.
You can get all three parts On Demand now.
The only problem I had with Sons of Liberty is that I have the image of Paul Giamatti as John Adams that anyone else playing him just doesn't seem right.
Actually. if you look at old portraits of the founding fathers most of the actors who have portrayed them look nothing like them at all. But Paul Giamatti As Adams and Stephen Dillane as Jefferson came very close.
