Only person seeing the movie One Missed Call at the Rialto in TV.
Yesterday I was the only person seeing one of the showings of the horror re-make One Missed Call at 2:45 pm. It is a remake of a Japanese horror movie of the same name but in Japanese of course.
This was showing at 10:40am, 12:40am, 2:45pm, 5:10pm and 7:15 pm with a late show Fri and Sat only at 9:25 pm. You wonder how many of these other showings were empty or just had one or two people?
I was wondering about the economics of this?
Private showings are nice but a little creepy for movies like this.
The movie One Missed Call is back next week playing at very similar times to this week (above) and I would guess only plays well for the teens and 20 somethings on evenings and weekends.
Guess there must be some kind of arrangement with the distributor that the Rialto has to show such and such a movie so many times to get to show other more popular movies so many times????
I have had trouble just finding a seat at some movies in TV like Charlie Wilson's War, Wild Hogs, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, etc.
Love horror movies for some reason so I have often found myself the only person in some of these horror movies at the Rialto and the Old Mill Playhouse.
