When I was creating a tile mosaic I got odd tiles from Habitat for Humanity resell store. They were more than happy to sell me odd partial boxes for cheap. Some were a lot thinner than others and I used a piece of vinyl tile $.99 cents at home depot and cut with craft knife and stuck to back so all would be same thickness. Hope this helps. Haven't been to local one but net says one in wildwood and one in Leesburg.
