You can absolutely ask for another Rep, people do it all the time! BTW, they are paid more commission to sell new, than to sell resales. It is their "mandate" to show you new homes first, even if you've requested resales.
We didn't want new, they showed us new, we looked at several. We then told them we only wanted to look at resales, no problem at all. They showed us lot of resales.
Also be sure you ask if there is a bond and add it to the sales price. So you can compare apples to apples.
But we bought through MLS, not VLS.
