Germany on my father's side and that was probably not that far back as genealogy goes. Quite far back on my mother's side we came from Ireland, Scotand, and England. Females in that line probably qualify for Daughters of the American Revolution.

One of our family trees lists a George Stimson (born 1641) who emigrated from Scotland to Chebacco (now Ipswich) MA sometime before or @ 1678.
