It was my understanding that the person submitting the "carry" license application was establishing the need and the appropriate government agency approved or disapproved it based on its merits. Apparently you disagree with the process and have already identified some who don't need to "carry". What's your process?

Ok, point out specifically where I said that I disagree with the process.
Sad to say, but I'm afraid that would happen here in TV if any of the elderly that "carry", try to get their weapon out in a hurry. The way I've seen some drive, they DON'T need to be carrying a weapon. People that have handled firearms all their lives can have that "uh-oh" moment; the older a person gets, the more their skills diminish in driving, handling meds, making rational decisions, handling loaded weapons, etc. I didn't disagree the process anywhere, I was part of the process.
