I was much like you in that I was a Windows user and iPhone and iPad user. I never wanted to cross over to the dark side but I did when my laptop died. I bought a Mac Pro. It is by far the best decision I have made. It has exceeded my expectations and not having to worry about viruses gives you piece of mind. There will be a little learning curve but nothing that can't be solved easily. When, if, you buy a Mac take advantage of the classes they will offer as they are a great learning tool.
