When you return people have removed your seat cushions or whatever you left on your seats to let someone know that they are occupied and people are sitting in the seats. Or, you go there as a couple and another couple is on the way so you politely tell people that you are saving two seats. Now many people might say that saving two seats is one thing but roping off twenty seats is something else. The question is where does the line get drawn?
I really think that leaving your coat or hat or water bottle on your seat shows that you are up dancing or getting a drink. But a rope across 25 chairs in a line at 3pm means that you are a chair hoarder.
