so sorry for your situation. We are Canadians and we have travel insurance but also have AirMed. It's like AAA, you join for under $300 and can use it twice in one year.
No pre existing, but you cannot be in hospital at the timeof joining.
They have ICU type planes to get you home but you must be admitted to a hospital 50 miles from your home.
