If you see someone parked in your neighborhood or someone walking that doesn't look like a typical villager; younger, dressed differently, what I am trying to say is that if a person is NOT wearing a golf shirt, that should be a red flag.

Back to being serious. When you leave, see if someone is watching you. Wouldn't hurt to leave on the TV. KNOW who cleans your home. Take a picture of your carpet cleaners and anyone who enters your home as a contractor.

Most of our neighborhood streets are vacant of people except senior walkers.

Have the sheriff's office come and show you how to protect your home and yourself.

Don't hesitate to call with anything that looks suspicious. That is how the burglar was caught last month.

Wanda is right, not all of us have good jewelry. I always wonder HOW the burglars know who does.
