LEESBURG — The old warbirds are coming back. The Wings of Freedom Tour returns Friday to Leesburg International Airport, allowing residents a chance to admire vintage World War II planes including the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, Consolidated B-24 Liberator and North American P-51 Mustang. Hours are 2 to 4:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The tour is sponsored by The Collings Foundation, a nonprofit educational organization.
