John_W, that thread was about the parcel
east of O'Shea's and is the same parcel that bagboy is referring to.
According to the Sumter County site, in March 2013 Steven Parramore sold that parcel to Wildwood Enterprise LLC.
In February 2015, development of that parcel was reviewed and approved by the Wildwood Planning and Zoning Board - discussed here:
New shopping near Brownwood
The proposal showed the owner as Wildwood Enterprise and the applicant shown on that proposal was Alpesh Patel.
So I don't think there will be a bowling alley or hotel in that location. Maybe somewhere else?
