Lots of various wildlife in The Villages. The bobcat you saw is pretty well-known in the area. He prefers to be called Robert.
Not a good idea to have your cat walking around your yard. Always chances for large hawks or venomous snakes to be in the area.
Cats also do not need much of a space to squeeze through in order to get out of a yard.
