Confirmation is not for every one or the faint of heart, but if enough of us take down the strings and the tape, we might get the message through their entitled heads that we all want to enjoy the nightly entertainment and are willing to play by the rules.

Nothing wrong with your action. Admirable is a good word.
It is ridiculous for any group to string chairs together at 3:30 and leave until 5:45 and to believe their chairs would still be unoccupied.
