I lost my front yard a few years back. Had the dead sod removed and the ground treated. We went out several times a day with a shovel to beat them to death and scooped them up. They were running everywhere. Had half a 17 gal. garbage bag before we were done. Neighbor a few houses away got them also not quite as bad. They are very destructive and gross.
