Just putting this out there on our 1 year anniversary of doing it. A little over a year ago we thought we should really do a will and the other documents you should have to go along with that. We are a couple in our 50"s and no children. We contacted the Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital Foundation and suggested we get with a attorney and set up a Legacy Gift in our estate. We met with Susan Sullivan and she prepared all the documents the will, health documents etc. When she found out what we were doing she did all of this at a very reduced rate. It was good knowing we had all of our legal matters in place if something happens. The next part is what we didn't know was going to happen. The foundation has treated us fantastic. We attended the Arnold Palmer Invitational last year and were guests in the chalet on #8 which is a fantastic experience. We were invited down to Bay Hill to meet Mr. Palmer and have lunch in the club house. WE later played Bay Hill golf course. We were given a VIP weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel for the 25th Birthday party of the Children's Hospital. We have been back to Bay Hill for dinner. And back to the Tournament again this year. I asked them awhile back why are we getting all of this and they have not seen a penny yet. They explained that it is gifts like ours that were given years ago are what is paying the bills now and our gift will do the same later. So they are kind of paying it forward and when we tell other people of the things they are able to offer us it might inspire others to also do a Legacy Gift in their estate. So it is something you might think about. If you interested give Matt Lilly a call or email. Phone 321-843-2488 Email:
