I've been looking into bariatric surgery in this area for a while now. The only one I've found promising is Dr. Jawad who has offices in both Orlando and Ocala. His web site claims he has successfully performed over 4000 laproscopic procedures as you will find stated in this quote from the site:

"Serving as an expert in the laparoscopic field and performing bariatric surgery since 1984, he has performed more than 4,000 laparoscopic bariatric surgical cases since 2000, safely and with great success. He specializes in the laparoscopic gastric bypass, the adjustable Lap-Band, and sleeve gastrectomy procedures."
