11 American Behaviors That Are Considered Rude Around the World | Mental Floss
This is an interesting article.
I had an Iraqi friend (a librarian from the University of Mosul) while at the University of Denver Graduate School of Librarianship and Information Management (1983-1984) who would keep handing me food even after I said I was full. I figured out I was being rude rejecting each subsequent dish so I just went home kind of bloated whenever I went to Mahmood's apartment. His wife always stayed in the other room. I never met her. The other Muslims from Arabic countries who hung around with Mahmood wives would socialize. Just not the Iraqi. He sure got upset with me when he saw a
Playboy magazine in my room on the University of Denver campus.
