Anybody dabbled with Intel's WiDi (or equivalent) technology? Allows you to display your WiDi enabled PC (desktop or laptop) on your WiDi enabled TV wirelessly. If your TV has an HDMI port, your HDTV can be made WiDi capable with a relatively cheap adapter. If your PC is not WiDi enabled, I'm not sure if there is a way to enable it...an adapter of some sort or something similar. I'm getting a new PC very soon which will be WiDi enabled. I'm going to be trying it soon thereafter. I'll let you know how it goes. (Geek??)
I'm envisioning myself sitting on my recliner with just a wireless keyboard/mouse on my lap desk, with full access to everything my desktop PC can do on my HDTV. The desktop will still be sitting by my desk in the adjacent room hard-wired to a standard monitor for when I want to use it in a more typical manner. Very cool...IF it works.
