Sorry to break the news, but Miami is NOT the first or only team to go undefeated.
The Cleveland Browns did it in approx. 1948. Unfortunately, this was just before the leagues merged and the NFL has not recognized this feat.
There is a petition being started by an Ohio congressman to have this recognized. Let's give credit where credit is due.
In those days preceding and right after the merger, Cleveland was the dominant team.
As a Clevelander, I am waiting....and waiting for a repeat.
So are my sons who have never experienced a winner.
