Mark Morse, the creator of The Performing Arts Center named it The Sharon, and that is how it is being advertised..
I think it is a nice tribute to his mother who was very involved in creating The Villages and who died of cancer here. In her last days, Gary Morse moved them to one of the cottages near Lake Sumter Landing with just the one floor to make it easier for her. He walked every morning to the sales center at Lake Sumter Landing. There is a formal picture of Sharon Morse in the large common area at the Savannah Center.
