My experience with that is that it wasn't dry enough when it was sealed. It says right on the container, it will turn hazy when applied to river rock not thoroughly dry. I sealed my own lanai and pool area for 23 years and never got a haze. You just have to be patient and let it dry. I always did it this time of year before the summer rains start, and did a very light coating, since I did it every year. That way, I just did a light pressure clean, seal, and it was pretty and shiny for the summer pool season. It worked well for me, I never lost any rock, or had to have the epoxy (ca-ca) redone. I really don't know what you can do at this point, maybe someone else does. That might not go away till the sealant wears down?? I don't know, but I surely wouldn't let him reseal over it. I don't know how that would help.
