We can't help because we are in PA, but I can tell everyone that having a foster (if you can't adopt) is a wonderful experience. Nothing brings more satisfaction than taking in a scared pup that has no home and making them feel wanted. You learn what they like, don't like, what their needs are, and the rescue can match that animal with the perfect forever home. Taking in a rescue to foster is more than simply feeding and walking. It's getting to know them and making sure their temperament is known to make the perfect match, avoiding the poor pup having to be shifted from home to home.
Who knows, you may find the perfect match for your own family. That happens too.
Susan G. what you are doing is fantastic and I hope you find loving homes for everyone of those precious pups.
