FYI-the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County, Inc. also has Villages residents collecting aluminum soda/beer cans to recycle for cash to help the animals in their care (not to take anything away from the other worthy causes!). Just providing another option towards helping the environment & the community. We had recently announced our goal to build Sumter County's and Florida's 1st "GREEN" Animal Shelter and every can counts!
