Sorry, I did say that I was outside of a major city so obviously not The Villages, but I should have specified that I am currently up north. I'm a part-time villager. I was addressing it from that vantage point because the poster who I was responding to was talking about the suburbs.

However, as I'm sure you are well aware, there have been rashes of burglaries in TV and I bet most of them are due to drug issues. Just saying, unless something is done about the proliferation of drug issues in this country, it will only get worse, and they're not going to break into houses where they don't think they will find enough of value to make it worth it.
