The reason I can't sleep sometimes is because my brain wants to stay awake. I am sure that is the reason for most people. But for some reason the sound of the surf gets my brain's attention and shuts it up.
If I need to wake my brain up, I use Mozart or just crank up that lovely melody we all know and love, "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" by Iron Butterfly.
