I can't even imagine how "grossed-out" your wife had to be when this happened. Absolutely disgusting. So sorry that it will ruin her fun by giving up a sport that she loves. Why not take a more positive approach by putting signs up about cleaning up after your dogs??? Also, some other suggestions others have made are good. Don't let bad people ruin your lives.

On the other hand, there are so many wild animals here, and more are coming as we infringe in their territory. Dogs usually aren't prone to seeking out sand to do their poop but a few others are. Like the others said, feral cats, squirrels, foxes, coyotes, ??

Sorry this had to happen to you. It would make me sick too.
