"Specifically, Comcast has increased the speeds of three Xfinity Internet tiers: “Performance” now offers speeds up to 50 Mbit/s, up from 25 Mbps; “Blast” is now 105 Mbps, up from 50 Mbps; and “Extreme 105” has been bumped to 150 Mbps.Aug 1, 2014"

So I have Comcast Blast only [no cable tv] and I'm paying $49/month. And I'm renting a router for another $10. That's probably a bad idea too.

The most demanding, fastest thing I do is watch Netflix.

If you have a better deal, different provider I will be happy to drop Comcast.

I probably don't need all the speed I am paying for already. If you have a better deal how much does it cost and how fast is the speed.
