So I have Comcast Blast only [no cable tv] and I'm paying $49/month. And I'm renting a router for another $10. That's probably a bad idea too.
The most demanding, fastest thing I do is watch Netflix.
If you have a better deal, different provider I will be happy to drop Comcast.
I probably don't need all the speed I am paying for already. If you have a better deal how much does it cost and how fast is the speed.

If you buy a router,$49 a month is not bad.Your only choices north of 466a is Comcast and CenturyLink. If you switch to CenturyLink make sure you have broadband and not DSL.Netflix will buffer with DSL.I recently switched from CenturyLink DSL to Comcast.I went with CenturyLink because of price but at the end of the promotion they wanted alot more for DSL than Comcast .Comcast is much better.
