Sorry about your experience. I only went there a couple of times, their lasagna is pretty good, I'll probably go back, but I am sure you are correct in your description.
I was waiting for someone to answer you and say what a great guy that guy is. A lot of TOV people can't accept a negative comment without making you the person that was wrong. I recently posted a negative comment on a business and was told I was wrong by a lot of people. At least Takis does not solicit comments to counter your comment.
