A couple of posts reminded me of my brother in law's advise to his children. As an aside he had been a prisoner of war in WWII. His advise was, "Do what you want but ever bring trouble or the police to my door"..How did they turn out:
1 Daughter is a retired assistant District Attorney in Sacremento, California. 2. The second child (a son) is now the Principle of a large High School in Calif. 3. The 3rd child is a senior executive in a large Casino in Las Vegas. No bad for some simple advise. Of course they respected their father and knew he was serious.
