Seriously? Do you view this as a personal safety issue (from bystanders/crowds) or a law enforcement issue?
What if the victim was just injured and could make a full recovery with prompt medical care but would die without it?
If it was an accident, and you were not impaired, you are not looking at any criminal charges and probably just the inconvienence of some paperwork. If you leave, you'll probably be facing several felony charges up to and including vehicular manslaughter or depraved indifference murder 2
Personally, I don't think my Hippocratic Oath gives me an option.
