Good article. We rarely eat meat anymore but do like a good steak or chops on the grille once every couple of months, our favorite meal for having friends over for dinner.
Not only is the part about dining away from home being more difficult, but worse is getting invited to friends' homes for dinner.
If we grille steaks/chops, I'm certainly not going to spend hours that afternoon making dinner salad or some kind of separate entree for our vegetarian/vegan guests.
It is very uncomfortable inviting people who refuse to eat what you're serving! And it's rude at wedding banquets to have vegetarian/vegan guests loudly stating disgust over the meal the bride's parents have spent a fortune to provide their guests.
