I'm sorry to see any of the discussions here becoming, shall I say, "agitated!"

I agree that freedom of speech should allow politicos the opportunity to come knock on my door, no matter how much I would be against it! Mind you, should any one try to do so, I'd ask them to get the h--- off my property, now!

I'm all for not allowing solicitation of any kind here. If we exempt politicians from that rule, then someone selling something, somewhere down the line, is going to get themselves exempted, as well, and the whole idea will be trashed. Bah, humbug!
