In my opinion, they are already exempt. Who is going to stop them? Whose law are they breaking? Who would you call? What law enforcement authority is going to arrest them? There is absolutely no law against knocking on your door unless you have a "No Tresspassing" sign in your yard, but signs are not allowed in The Villages. The only thing you can do is tell them you are not interested and not to come back.
