I'll go first: I'm a vegan because I read The China Study by T. Colin Campbell PhD.. His extensive studies of both small animals and a large 20+ year human population study proved to my satisfaction that animal protein promotes cancer. That's not to mention many other degenerative diseases that can be avoided by eating a plant-only diet.
I decided that as far as other regimens go, taste is good but not so good if you don't have good health. Good health is paramount. I can't imagine how I would enjoy life if I had cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis or some other degenerative disease.

Really? Vegetarion? I am not a vegetarian because I gave it a good go and got very tired of it. And I didn't feel any better than I do now. In fact, I believe I have more energy now. And I think Bill Clinton looks very frail and unhealthy. But it might be his age.
