In Wisconsin,Michigan,Illinois,and all the other states we have worked in a lien waiver was required if we hired SUBS. The waiver was to protect the client. We required a lien waiver from our SUBS. This does not mean a lien was ever filed, it is protection for you. I would worry more if you don't get a waiver. LEN
