There will always be a small percentage of people born into this world with a variety of genetic defects or abnormalities. e.g. birth defects, cystic fibrosis, autism etc. This is sad but inevitable.

Homosexuality is an aberration and about 1-2% of the population is born into it. That does not mean they should be harassed or not able to live a full life, BUT ... nor does it mean the abnormal condition should thus be redefined as normal.

This is not a difficult concept logically ... but emotionally, some simply can not bear to admit the obvious.
