It's amazing how stupid Hastert is. Any applicable statutes, either criminal or civil, have expired since the alleged incident happened about 30 years ago. Why he would agree to $3.5 million is unbelievable! Then, instead of writing checks or just making electronic money transfers, he pays the guy in cash!
