Holy cow.
Most vitamins are no longer manufactured in the US. The majority come from China. You know what kind of quality control is used in China in the making of pet food.
We use a pet food that doesn't include any manufactured vitamins at all. All vitamins in Nature's Logic pet food occur naturally in the foods used in making the kibble.
Here is a good article explaining about vitamins, where they come from, and how some of the pet food companies do not tell you when they change their product sourcing (as in Dick Van Patten when it was bought by Del Monte).
