We use a pet food that doesn't include any manufactured vitamins at all. All vitamins in Nature's Logic pet food occur naturally in the foods used in making the kibble.

Here is a good article explaining about vitamins, where they come from, and how some of the pet food companies do not tell you when they change their product sourcing (as in Dick Van Patten when it was bought by Del Monte).
China-Free Dog Food? Don't Count on It
When I lived in Las Vegas a few years ago the FDA came in to investigate a company that was using Chinese product in its dog food. I think I recall that more than 2000 pets died from that product.

And now we are letting them do the same thing with the food we humans eat. I don't have a lot of confidence in the Chinese (read that I don't trust them at all) or the FDA's ability to monitor the Chinese.) Before you get your gall bladders in an uproar, please note my brother used to work for the FDA and inspected Chinese food products coming in to US ports. He no longer works for the FDA (he retired) and I avoid anything from China. Most especially seafood above all else.
