I have begun the recommended book by Samuel Blumenfield.

If you have time, please read it. We are and have been destroying the youth of our country and doing it on purpose it seems. We are failing our children int his country.

We oft times on this board discuss the black economic situation in the country.

"Across New York City, only 15.3 percent of black students me the proficiency standards in math. In English, the percentage of proficient black students was 16.3 percent"

WE have set these young people to fail. We fail to educate and as Mr Blumfenfeld speaks to, we stress the political correctness instead of the learning in our schools.

The statistics on how prepared these young people are to do ANYTHING when they get out of high school is shocking and very disturbing. Basically good young people who will never get off the street because we failed them in education.

How do these young people ever ever get out of the life they have ?
